Communication of the reasons for the diligence: Considering that the resident is previously aware of the reasons for the diligence, since, according to article 243, item II , the reason and purposes of the diligence must be included in the search warrant, which must be read to the resident ( Article 245 ), what Article 247 means is that, if the thing or person sought is not found, the resident may request the agent to provide him with further clarification on the reason for the search.
