Art. 238. The original documents, together with the completed process, when there is no relevant reason that justifies their conservation in the file, may, upon request, and after hearing the Public Prosecutor’s Office, be delivered to the party that produced them, remaining transferred in the file.

Comments: At the end of the process, that is, when the decision becomes final and unappealable, the documents attached by the party may be returned, provided that there is no relevant reason for them to be kept in the file. Copies must remain in the case file. The copy will have its authenticity certified by the notary.
