Article 199 CPP – Confession outside interrogation.

Art. 199. The confession, when made outside the interrogation, will be taken as a term in the records, observing the provisions of article 195.

Confession made in the course of the process

Confession outside the interrogation:  The confession can be made by the defendant at any stage of the process (not necessarily during the interrogation), and, if so, it must be concluded by the magistrate.
