Flavio Meirelles Medeiros graduated in Law at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 1982. During the university course, he was Head of the Department of Criminal Law at SAJUG and Monitor of the Chair of Criminal Procedure. He was a professor at the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University and at the Faculty of Law of UNISINOS, in which he held the position of Lawyer-Instructor of the Free Legal Assistance Service and, in the second, he taught in the Chair of Criminal Procedure. He was Deputy Director of the Department of Criminal Law at the Institute of Lawyers of Rio Grande do Sul, Member of the Human Rights Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association, Member of the Defense and Assistance Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association and Legal Advisor to the Public Prosecutor. Head of the Republic in Rio Grande do Sul. Effective Member of the Institute of Lawyers of Rio Grande do Sul since 1983. Member of the Superior Council of the Attorney General’s Office.
